Piotr Kuzmicki has spent over two decades living and breathing the world of premium spirits, from the bars of Belgium to the boardrooms of Australia's most respected drinks companies.
It started behind the bar at Lucy Chang in Antwerp, where a cocktail book and an insatiable curiosity set everything in motion. At Cocktails at Nine, that curiosity became competition-winning craft — Piotr took Belgium’s National Title at the Bacardi Legacy with his signature cocktail, the Superiocho, earning him a place on the global stage, a workshop invitation in Budapest, and the honour of representing Bacardi at the 60th Anniversary of the International Bartenders Association in Warsaw.
Melbourne came calling, and Piotr answered. He poured his European pedigree into some of the city’s finest venues — The Alchemist and the legendary Lui Bar at Vue de Monde — while competing at World Class Diageo, reaching the Top 8 of Bacardi Legacy Sydney, and fronting Diageo’s national Ketel One campaign ‘This One’s Mine’.
Brand work followed naturally. Five years with Alepat Taylor saw him champion world-class labels — Amaro Montenegro, Chopin Vodka, Camus Cognac, Beluga Vodka — building the kind of deep trade relationships that only come from genuine passion and expertise. At Campari Group, that expertise translated into commercial results, contributing to the Victorian team’s Sales State of the Year 2023.
